I very frequently get asked what kind of printers I use - currently, I have both a Bambu Lab A1 as well as an Elegoo Saturn 3. I love them both and have found their suite of products to be high quality - any failures I've had on my prints have been my own fault so far.

I use my Bambu/filament printer for larger prints, such as my Aerondight sword for my Armored Ciri cosplay, while I use my Elegoo/resin printer for finer details, such as all the attachments for my Isobel Thorm cosplay. The filament printer requires more post-processing work; you have to put in a bit more elbow grease to get rid of layer lines. However, the resin printer requires more prep and clean-up work; resin prints have to be rinsed/cleaned in isopropyl alcohol and then cured with a UV lamp. Additionally, uncured resin is toxic and you have to be very mindful of how you handle and dispose of it. That being said, they are extremely impressive printers - I very rarely have to sand my pieces.
