Below are brief summaries of how I made my Witcher 3 Ciri cosplay back in 2019/2020. Note this will not be as detailed as my newer builds because I didn't have an Instagram back when I made the majority of this costume! Since I made this years ago I unfortunately do not remember who I bought the STLs from.
I used a free pattern by Rogue One Cosplay and used a thrifted Goodwill curtain for this blouse. The champagne ribbon across the top was not quite gold enough to my liking, so I used watered down acrylic to tint it. I weathered with a comination of acrylic paints, cocoa powder, and eyeshadow.
The pants were a pair of leggings that I bought off of eBay because they had a nice middle seam similar to Ciri's. I dabbed it with acrylic paint (would use fabric paint now) and then inserted these little metallic studs.
I used the cling wrap and duct tape method to pattern the corset around my waist and figure out where the seams should go. I then transferred the pattern to paper and then to the fake leather. I used zip ties for the boning and sealed the raw edges with bias tape. Little studs were used for the golden adornments and the corset was weathered with acrylic paints.
I modified a pair of over-the-elbow gloves by chopping off some of the length and painting them with acrylics (I would not do this nowadays because the paint flaked off - I would use a flexible paint). I made the elbow cuffs in fake leather, painted them, and then sealed the edges in turquoise bias tape. I then attached them to the main glove body.
Various accessories were 3D printed in resin on a Longer Orange 10 (my first resin printer! Not a super great one but it got the job done). Belt buckles, cat school medallion (which hangs on her belt in the game and on the CDPred cosplay guide - don't come for me), and waist belt medallions were all printed. The turquoise gem on her waist belt were printed in translucent blue resin.
Belts
Her black hip belt was made out of EVA foam that I scored with a craft knife. At the time I made this I had no idea how to stamp her little clover designs so I just..... didn't. The black hip belt and medallion belt both attached with Velcro.
Pouches
Her pouches were drafted on paper until I got the shapes right and then transferred to fake leather. They close with Velcro.
Arm Bands
Her upper arm bands were made out of EVA foam, wrapped in fake leather, and then weathered with acrylic paints. These stayed on my arm just through friction.
The wig was a silver lace front that I chopped, thinned, and styled with a sock bun.
Both the sword and the dagger were printed on my Creality Ender 3. Sanded, primed with filler primer, sanded again, and then spray painted silver. Acrylic for the handle and details. The dagger's sheath was wrapped with fake leather, while Zirael's sheath was painted red. The "leather" straps on the sheath are EVA foam.
